The Quartz floor coating system offers incredible beauty along with the highest levels of strength and durability, and increased anti-slip properties. It is overkill for most residential garage floors, but some homeowners prefer the aesthetic.
This coating option is great for heavy-use or wet applications where maintaining an attractive aesthetic is important. Pool houses, patios, porches, locker rooms, commercial kitchens, walkways, and more.
Like the Classic, this system starts with an industrial grade 100% solids-epoxy for the base coat. This slow curing material allows for adhesion that exceeds the failure point of the concrete. It also creates a thick, heavy bed for the Quartz broadcast.
The next day, we will roll a second coat of clear epoxy with another broadcast of Quartz aggregate. This makes the coating twice as thick for enhanced strength, durability, color, and a more attractive finish.
After this second coat cures overnight, we will apply a single, heavy coat of Polyaspartic Urethane clear coat. This material is UV-tolerant, and resistant to chemicals and abrasion.
