About 505 Garage Floors
505 Garage Floors traces back to 2009, when Albuquerque-area native Mark King got his start in the garage floor coating trade. In 2014 he founded Artisan Garage Floors in Dallas-Fort Worth, and by 2019 the company was coating more than 400 residential and commercial floors a year. King returned to the Santa Fe area in 2021 to be closer to family, and he founded 505 Garage Floors on that same backbone of experience. Together, the two companies now install over 700 floors a year. Both were acquired by Justin Thompson, in 2023 and 2025. They remain locally owned and operated, and Sean Adcox leads 505 Garage Floors as operating partner.

Born and raised in Albuquerque.
I was born and raised in Albuquerque and have lived here my whole life. Like many Burqueños, I have a lot of pride in this city. I like working with locals and helping them improve their homes and businesses.
I’m a hard worker and I’m honest. I shoot people straight, take care of them, and lose sleep over small details nobody else would ever notice.

From first contact through the completion of work, I make the process smooth and stress-free. I walk you through every step so you’re prepared when the crew arrives. On installation day, I communicate timelines, keep you informed, and meet expectations.
